| My
name is Cathy MacKenzie, I Started making soap as a hobby to give
friends and family a home made gift for Christmas and birthdays. I made
my first batch of lavender and oatmeal soap in February 2004, let it
cure for 4 weeks and cut small bars to use in the house, soon people
who came to visit would comment on the lovely soap , and couldn't
believe it when I said I had made it. More often than not the visitor
would leave clutching a bar of the soap.

| People
started to ask if I could make them some too, for gifts. My husband
Roddy made me some wooden boxes to use as moulds for the soap. I was
soon selling at the local craft fayres and christmas fêtes, and always
had an empty table at 'home time'. All my soaps have been safety
assessed and I have been certified as a soap maker. It is illegal to
sell soap without this certificate!

I
hope you enjoy using my products as much as I enjoy making them. I try
and use locally sourced ingredients at all times. My soap and bath
products are only made in small batches so I can be sure of a great end
result. My products contain no animal derived ingredients and are
completely tested on humans!! The comments I have from people who have
bought my soaps really speak for them selves. Thank you for visiting my
website.
